# Overview

Moneris Checkout gives ecommerce merchants a simple and secure way to process payments by integrating a Moneris-hosted payment module into the merchant checkout page.

Moneris Checkout offers merchants a hosted payment solution integrated directly through their websites and offers their customers multiple payment options including credit/debit cards, digital wallets, <Glossary>Konek</Glossary> and gift cards.

The hosted checkout solution is developed, managed and secured by Moneris, allowing merchants to render checkout form directly within their websites, and offering buyers a seamless checkout experience. Moneris checkout also enables merchants to use our fraud prevention tools and other value added services with simple configuration changes.

If you prefer to build a custom UI while bypassing direct credit card handling, refer to the [Hosted Tokenization](hosted-tokenization-introduction) documentation.
