Overview
Moneris Checkout gives ecommerce merchants a simple and secure way to process payments by integrating a Moneris-hosted payment module into the merchant checkout page.
Moneris Checkout Transaction Process
To set up your Moneris Checkout integration, complete the following steps:
- Configure your Merchant Resource Center to generate IDs used in the backend calls.
- Build your customized client-side checkout page to securely handle the cardholder payment flow.
- Call the Moneris backend to generate a temporary ticket number before checkout starts.
- Implement backend server-to-server logic to handle communication with the Moneris Checkout backend.
- Initiate checkout to fetch the ticket number and embed the checkout window in the client-side page.
- Handle all required callback scenarios during and after checkout, and implement the Receipt request in the server logic.
