Overview

Moneris Checkout offers merchants a hosted payment solution integrated directly through their websites and offers their customers multiple payment options including credit/debit cards, digital wallets, Konek and gift cards.

The hosted checkout solution is developed, managed and secured by Moneris, allowing merchants to render checkout form directly within their websites, and offering buyers a seamless checkout experience. Moneris checkout also enables merchants to use our fraud prevention tools and other value added services with simple configuration changes.

Moneris Checkout Transaction Process

To set up your Moneris Checkout integration, complete the following steps:

1. Configure your Merchant Resource Center to generate IDs used in the backend calls.
2. Build your customized client-side checkout page to securely handle the cardholder payment flow.
3. Call the Moneris backend to generate a temporary ticket number before checkout starts.
4. Implement backend server-to-server logic to handle communication with the Moneris Checkout backend.
5. Initiate checkout to fetch the ticket number and embed the checkout window in the client-side page.
6. Handle all required callback scenarios during and after checkout, and implement the Receipt request in the server logic.
